"What? Rent my home to strangers ..."


Many home owners, like yourself ask the same question that is on your mind "I don't know about renting my home to strangers.  What if .... " 

We work hard to find qualified tenants for your property.  Each  tenants receives a Tenant Handbook and we enforce the rules outlined in the handbook by conducting periodic inspections throughout the year as well as random drive-by inspections.

Each prospective tenant must qualify to rent your home.  Qualification includes a credit check and debt to income qualification, based on the same formula that the FHA uses. 

What many home owners ask:
  • "I am not comfortable renting to strangers"
    Understandable, however renting to friends and family is much more difficult then renting to "strangers".  We make sure that it is treated as a business transaction and the tenants we put into your home understand this.

  • "What if they trash my house?"
    It is unlikely that the tenants are going to trash your home,  the vast majority of tenants are very responsible and are proud of their home, even if they are renting.  Additionally, we do hold a security deposit to cover any damage that may occur, and with our numerous inspections we are bound to catch any issues before they get out of hand.
  • "Are there any advantages to renting our home?"
    Yes, may have tax advantages, but most importantly someone else will be paying all or a large portion of your mortgage payment.  This is particularly important if you want to hold on to the property to build equity to pay for your child's college or retirement.
